From Setup to Serving
Every Friday morning, volunteers arrive early to set up outdoors at Wesley Child Care Center in Dorchester, MA. Food is sorted and staged by category. Families begin walking up at 9:00 AM. No registration or appointment is needed. Proof of Boston residence is the only requirement. Tables are packed away at 11 AM until next week.
A Look at What We Stock
Most of what fills our tables comes directly from parish food drives, community donations, and monetary gifts used to buy the items for which we can't rely on donations - like eggs, dairy, and culturally specific staples.
